Exciting Changes Underway at ADRIA

Since September 2012, when ADRIA was born from AAMS foundations, a lot of careful and methodical planning has been occurring.  The goal is to create the most effective and efficient organization possible to achieve our new vision:

ADRIA is the strongest, most vibrant Appropriate Dispute Resolution membership organization in Canada - recognized for advancing excellence in the profession and its professionals.

Two key elements of this planning process have been the Board refocusing ADRIA’s strategic plan (please see the article from the President) and Board approved plan to restructure the administrative function of the Society under a single Executive Director(ED).  The revised staffing structure that has been adopted and is planned to be fully implemented by the fall is outlined below:

 


Phase 1 of implementation of this structure has begun, with the Search for an ADRIA Executive Director and a Membership Services Coordinator ( announced on May 27th).  More information is available about these opportunities in the “News and Events” section on the ADRIA web site at http://www.adralberta.com/news-and-events.asp

Further discussion about the path forward is also planned at ADRIA’s first Annual General Meeting & Conference set for Calgary on June 6th – we hope to see you there!
