"A mediated dispute means that both parties prevail to succeed again"

Biography of Gregory Hoffmann, Esq.

Greg Hoffmann has successfully navigated the rough waters of law, business, arbitration and mediation for over 35 years and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1987.  His highly successful dispute resolution strategies were born from a successful career in all facets of complex and class action business litigation, including commercial, corporate, licensing, franchise and investment matters.  In addition to his extensive litigation background, Mr. Hoffmann brings significant business skills to clients, having been the CEO and co-owner of several privately held businesses involved in publishing, animation, retail, intellectual property licensing and brand development with lifetime domestic and global sales in excess of US$1B.  Combining these litigation and business skills with his work as a graduate school educator, Mr. Hoffmann is well positioned to provide clients with successful strategies to resolve business disputes.

Mr. Hoffmann has been a member of the Bar Associations in the states of Florida, Missouri and Alaska for over 25 years and is a Florida Certified Civil Court and Federal Court Mediator and Arbitrator.  A mediator resolving business matters throughout Florida for a number of years, he is also a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association where he has served as a panel chair and handled a variety of cases including large complex matters and franchise and licensing disputes.  He also serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry National Regulatory Association (“FINRA”) where he has served on numerous arbitration panels.  He is an adjunct professor in business and entrepreneurship at Webster University, an adjunct professor at The Keller Graduate School of Management and has been a visiting professor in entrepreneurship at the University of Trinidad and Tobago.

Following a life-long passion for marine biology, Mr. Hoffmann volunteers as a guide and an aquarist at the Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida.  He also serves on several charitable boards and is the Chair of the Manasota Chapter of SCORE.  He resides with his wife in Longboat Key, Florida.

Mr. Hoffmann is available to assist in dispute resolution, both pre- and post-litigation, in Florida and throughout the United States. For more information on Mr. Hoffmann’s availability, please
